Tiny sneek peek of an amazing day after shoot
Gray and I had the pleasure of shooting Tasha and Maurice again and it was A-MA-ZING! You might remember their engagement shoot, still one of my favorites. We love shooting them because we get to whatever we want! Anything I've always wanted to do, I do with them. Anyone who knows me knows I've had a lifetime obsession with balloons, not sure why.. I just do. I've always wanted to do a shoot with balloons so we we did! I kind of wish we'd gotten a million more, but they wouldn't have fit in the car. So we went out to the desert and just did whatever we wanted! And the results were awesome! We went to eat after and got free tootsie rolls with our dinner, haha! So I'm only showing you 2 for now, but more are coming!

Ebony + Tom- Married!
Grayson and I had the pleasure of shooting Ebony and Tom on their wedding day! I have to say, when we pulled up early to Cornerstone Church where they were getting married, we were a bit worried. We looked and looked for spots to shoot but didn't find much to work with. Then we drove behind the church and found a ranch style home with horses, jackpot! It all worked out, and it was a good time! They only hired us to shoot them and a bit of the bridal party and ceremony, so it was a short day! But we had enough time to get some shots of Ebony getting ready and I'm so glad we did!

I just love these next 2 shots, veils and wind are the best.

Roya + Mike [a good ol time]
Well it seems to be the season of marriage. My good friend Roya of Roya Jade Photography (about to become Jean Paul Photography) just got married! We were in each other's wedding at the same location within a month of each other, amazing. I got to be a brides maid!! I was pumped about that! And Mary Frances and her husbnad Scott (awesome people) did a great job of photographing the day. And you just have to give them a high five, I would be terrified to shoot a wedding with 5 wedding photographers AT the wedding! 5 in the bridal party! That's just nuts! Well, here are some photos of her beautiful day, she looked amazing of course!!
Dana and I snapped a few shots when they were photographing the boys :]

This picture taken by Mary Frances just cracks me up, too many wedding photographers to handle!

You can never get enough of Dana and Jeremy [who also shot my wedding]

Dana and I stuck together, buddy sytem

The world just doesn't have enough of these moments... haha

Aww Heather Glasby, no longer a Jagger :[ legally at least ;]

Wedding photographers.. and Jason.. know how to get it done

I love my hubby bubby... :]

This is April and Jason, they met at our wedding (she was one of my brides maids, he was a guest).. I called it! While going through my guest list one day looking for single guys for my roommates, I stumbled upon this glorious idea: Jason and April. It worked! They're amazing together!

I'll have a groom with a side of matching guests

That's Amy Clarke, the awesome makeup artist who did both mine and Roya's wedding makeup, gettin down. And poor Andy after I got too excited and spilled Dana's drink on his back... :/

Dave + Rachael [good times in Ojai, CA]
I met Rachael at South Coast Plaza in the most random way. I was talking with a woman about wedding photography and as I got up to leave I heard a woman running behind me yelling "excuse me!! excuse me!" I thought.."there is no way she's talking to me, but I'll check anyway", oddly enough she was yelling for me. She went on to tell me she overheard me talking and she's looking for a photographer, after a great engagement session, here we are today!
They got married and the San Buena Ventura Mission, it was so pretty. Then we moved to the reception at Rachael's grandpa's old house, he recently passed away. We saw pictures of all the work they'd done, it's amazing. It went from an acre or so of pure rubble to this amazing place which held her dream wedding. I loved it here, it was so homey and nice, huge trees, a tire swing, an old barn.. it was perfect. It was so hard to chose the photos to post of this wedding, there were so many I loved and so many good things going on. We attempted to take some photos near the end, but they were in "good time" mode, it was great- dancing machines! We shot their photos at the amazing Ojai Valley Inn, it was great! And Heather Ham and her girls did an amazing job coordinating the day, it was a long one but it went smoothly! Well, here is it!
